FIRST is a project under the Swedish Sea Rescue Society, SSRS, an NGO that performs 70% of all sea rescue operations in Sweden, all without any State funding.
The project is headed by Capt. Jörgen Lorén of Stena Line, chairman of Sjöbefälsföreningen, The Maritime Officers' Association
Capt. Mikael Hinnerson of the SSRS is the Project Director
Industrial Designer Fredrik Falkman is heading technical development and public communication for the project
